The residential summer music school combines tuition of the highest standard with a unique cultural experience. Each summer we welcome students from all over the world - often more than 50 countries - brought together in our environment of creative excellence and set in the beautiful, historic Winchester College in England.
Preparing an application to the Ingenium Academy might take you a few days - so don't leave it too late!
You'll need an audition video and a letter of recommendation from a teacher or counsellor, as well as your application form and deposit.

Step 1: Choose your programme...
Course dates: 15 July - 12 August 2018
This summer we will be offering seven intensive music programmes, including two brand new and exciting additions for 2018, ranging from 1 week to 4 weeks long. Students can attend one immersive course, or broaden their experience by combining programmes to suit their interests.
Our 2018 course will include Chamber music, Composition, Conducting, Orchestral, Piano, Saxophone and Vocal programmes.
All our programmes offer one-to-one tuition with some of the top musicians and educators in the UK alongside an immersive schedule of rehearsals, workshops, performance, and whole-school activities where our young musicians can make long-lasting friendships that span continents.
The Earlybird Discount is valid on applications for programmes lasting three or four weeks, received before 31 December 2017.
Step 2: Prepare your audition...
Applications to the Ingenium Academy include a video audition - this will time to prepare, so don't leave your application too late!
Visit our How To Apply page for information, and don't forget to check out the auditions page for your chosen programme to see any specific requirements. (If you're applying to the Composition programme, we want to see examples of your music.)
Step 3: Get your Letter of Recommendation...
As part of your applicaiton we also require a letter of recommendation from a teacher or school counsellor, to say that they approve of your application and confirm your audition video is a true representation of your playing.
Teachers are busy people, so don't leave it too late to ask - there's not long left before the holidays...
Step 4: Submit your application before 31 December 2017
Applying to the Ingenium Academy is really easy using our online application form. Once you've sent in your application form, audition video, letter and deposit, we'll be in touch within a few days with the result.
Places sell out quickly, particularly certain instruments, so don't delay - apply before the Earlybird Deadline and avoid disappointment!
